After making my Halloween table runner in October I decided to try and make another runner for that time between Halloween and Christmas. I went with a gorgeous set of fat quarters from “Dear Stella” with an Autumnal theme from eBay, a plain mustard yellow fat quarter and then embellished with leaves from The Works.
Instead of my usual square design I went with a “patience quilt block” which is a square surrounded by rectangles – see here for the design.
The leaves got stuck on with temporary glue and then I stitched them in. Finally, I added a border with a 30mm light pink bias binding.
